Inauguration of Planet Three Peace Programme

Ghanaians must wake up, Peace is fast diminishing on the continent of Africa –Planet 3

The theme, “Securing Peace for Humankind”  at the formal inaugural lecture of  Planet 3 Peace Programme [P3PP], brought together the Acting Commissioner of Human Right and Administrative Justice [CHRAJ] Miss Anna Bossman,  the  Executive Director of  West Africa Network for Peace Building[WANEP] Mr. Emmanuel Bombande,  and  the head of Sociology Department of University of Ghana Prof. Steve O. Tonah  emphasized the need to uphold peace and stability in Ghana is essential when Peace is firmed and Justice is not selective but equal for all.

The board chairman of the P3PP, Prof. Dominic Kofi Agyeman, described the organization as a strong advocate for the cultivation of people responsibilities towards one another as individual members of the family, the community and the country at large.                                                           

He said abuse in the distribution of the resources of nations, with prejudice to party affiliation and creed, colour, class, gender and ethnic association, were acts that often led to conflict situations.  

  In his remarks, the Founder of the P3PP, Mr, Paul Agyei Gyang, had said the formation of the NGO was in response to the question as to how to secure lasting peace for sustainable development in Ghana and Africa.

Planet Three [P3PP] aims at Securing Peaceful Democratic Stability Globally in Africa and Asia looking at the current trend of events in which democratic elections characterized by violence, leading to Lost of Lives and displacing Victims of War and Violence affecting women and children.
